That particular mountain is called Mount Le Conte, which lies just east of Mississippi. This is the tallest mountain in the park. Many people like to see this mountain. The park is good for hiking, climbing, or just walking in the park to see the sights and enjoy nature. Going into Alum Cave will bring you straight on through to Clingman’s Dome, which is the highest peak in the park. From this peak, you are able to see the wonderful and spectacular views of the forest in the park. This peak is about 50 feet high.

There are 70 miles of trails and 850 miles of roads that are unpaved. These trails take you to Chimney tops and Laurel Falls. These falls have 80 feet drops that you don’t ever want to fall into. You must have a travel guide with you when you go there. There are other things to do to have fun, such as bike riding, horseback riding, and fishing. Because there are over 700 hundred miles of streams, you can set up camp at a site by the water and catch rainbow fish and trout.
